After rereading Walk of the Spirits. I thought a lot about how Miranda lost her home due to the hurricane. I live in Alabama and this past week has been tough for a lot of people. The tornado that swept through Tuscaloosa has left a lot of people homeless, like Miranda. My mom has someone that works in her office building. The woman lost her the entire front of her apartment.
