Adult Novels- Scarecrow & Blood Roots

Who here has read Scarecrow and/or Blood Roots?

I just finished reading them for the fourth time. I'm itching for a discussion! lol

Blood Roots has been one of my favorite books since I read it when I was 14 years old! I think the strory is fabulous, and it has a more "grown-up" fell than the rest of her books. I really wish someone would make a book about it!

I also enjoyed Scarecrow, but thought that it was a bit darker and more violent than Blood Roots. Not my favorite, but still quite enjoyable. Now I feel like I should read both of them again, lol!

I am lucky enough to own all of her books up to the late 90's

I love both books equally, I think. They are both very different, but I absolutely love the characters in both. She pays such close attention to all of the senses, it's amazing.
