Her Buffy books were good. I mean, obviously I prefer her original works more because she had the ability to be as creative as she wanted to be.
While I love all of her books simply for the dialogue, characters, and settings, I have to say some books have had better endings than others. It's hard for me to explain... lol
Hmm, to be honest I don't think there are any of her books that I didn't absolutely love! I first fell in love with her writing when I was about 12 years old, the first one I read was "Teacher's Pet". I loved that one so much that I read every other book she'd written, and I own every book up to the very late 90s. I think if I had to pick one it would be the one about the haunted house, and I'm sad to say that I can't even remember the name! All of the other ones I've read at least 3-5 times over all the years. I think it may have been called "The House Next Door"?? It was written either late 90's or early 2000.
It is The House Next Door, Becky. That is another of my top favorites. All her books are my favorites, but there are a few that stand out just a little bit more, I think.
You sound a lot like me. I started reading her books when I was 11, I think. And after that, I bought all of her novels. Some were pretty hard to track down, but the internet came in handy for that. I own every single one of them to date.
Am I right to assume that you haven't read the Unseen Series or Walk of the Spirits and Shadow Mirror?
I've read the first two books in the "Unseen" series, but those were the last of her newer books that I've read. I definitely want to finish that series and start on the next, though! She's a fabulous writer. I had the honor of meeting her when I was 14 years old and she did a lecture at a local library in St. Louis. She autographed several of my books and really encouraged me to continue developing my writing. It was amazing.

Wow, that is so awesome! I'd love to get to meet her some day :)
Although I love them all, even the ones I haven't read yet (haha!), my least favorites would probably be April Fools and Help Wanted. I don't know why exactly, but I get the same vibe from both books. I like them, but I don't LOVE them.
