Yes, if all my favorite writers could be machines and spit out more work as I absorb them I would be in heaven; ahh dreams :-)...I have a small fortune in books; I keep seeing everyone talk about used book stores but alas the only two we had closed it is so sad. I end up having to wait on Amazon to ship or if I can't wait (which happens all too oftern) I spend too much $ as B&N or BAMM; oh well. Sweet, sweet addiction I will not give it up :-)

It definitely isn't like her to leave us hanging. So my guess would be that there will be a third. We shall see...

I feel like I'm going to die waiting for her next novel... Hahaha. I always do. I wish she was a machine and put books out every few months. lol. That would be like heaven ;)
But... I'll probably just reread her novels until then :)
At least it's reading. I mean, there are definitely worse addictions you could have!

I actually don't read a whole lot. Only Richie's stuff, really. Except for all the reading I had to do in high school and college. And the Harry Potter books. lol. But besides that, I don't read many authors.
yeah I'm the oppisite I read a whole lot :P I just go to the library and grab books that sound interesting off the shelf all the time. that really payed off for me since that's how I found walk of the spirits!! Or I just re-read the books I really love. :P :)
I think a lot of her fans are avid readers. Nothing seems to hold my interest like her books do, though.
She even has her own shelf... in order of publication... LOL

I'm a nerd.
i read allsorts of books, usually horror and crime, but richie tankersley is one of my favourite writers and so is l.j.smith, i love both of their stuff, l.j.smith has got some new books over so i figure that will keep me until richie gets writing the next book lol, and i agree i wish she was a book writing machine, that would be great, couple of books a month should do it lol haha and erika love your order, i may be worse or we are evens, i have mine in alphabetical order hehe :)
Too true; it's actually books and coffee :-)

I guess we've gotten a little off topic from Shadow Mirror. Don't be afraid to start your own threads on here if there's something you'd like to discuss. I'll keep starting new ones as I come up with ideas, but... I don't want to be the only little icon that pops up next to every thread ;)

I think I'll write a book review of Shadow Mirror. I'll post it here once I write it.
Book Review: Shadow Mirror by Richie Tankersley Cusick

Richie Tankersley Cusick's newest novel, Shadow Mirror, takes place in the sleepy town of St. Yvette, Louisiana where Miranda Barnes and her mother have relocated after a hurricane removes them from their home in Florida. As a sequel, Shadow Mirror takes place a few months after Walk of the Spirits leaves off. Friends Miranda, Etienne, Gage, Roo, Ashley, and Parker find themselves at the center of another haunting adventure. When Miranda starts seeing a face in the mirror that isn't her own, she knows it has some connection to Belle Chandelle, an old plantation in St. Yvette that her mother and aunt Teeta have been working on restoring. Although she resents her gift, she knows that it is up to her to solve another heartbreaking mystery from years past. While trying hard to keep her newest ghostly experiences a secret, Miranda soon finds out that her friends have a few secrets of their own. And as she begins to figure out the mystery of the woman in the mirror, Miranda notices some eerie parallels between the past and the present. With budding romances, scary encounters, and interesting historical tidbits throughout, Shadow Mirror has something for every YA Horror fan.

As a sequel, I feel that Shadow Mirror surpasses Walk of the Spirits. The characters have been developed more, the dialogue is absolutely wonderful, the details are more rich, and the overall story is enchanting. While the ending leaves a number of questions and loose ends, this can easily be amended if the story is expanded into a trilogy or an even larger series.

Overall, this book was a great read. It’s not only easy to read, but it’s easy to get lost in the story. I will definitely read it many more times in the future and sincerely hope that Miranda’s story continues.

How's this for a quick review? :)
(Let me know what you all think)
That was a good review. Really well written. When I try to reveiw something I ususally end up babbling and sound like child. I agree that Shadow Mirror was better than Walk of the spirits, which I think is really great, because a lot of times I read a book then go to get the sequeal (or even later books in the series if it is longer) and it wasn't as good as the first one. The author just had difficulty keeping that... spark or whatever the first book had.
Thanks :) I've always wanted to review a book, but never knew what to say. I just looked up some guidelines on the internet. This is what I used:

That's a real helpful pages. Outlines the review very nicely.
I really hope there's a third book!
