Walk of the Spirits three? Theories.

Well, I don't know about you people, but I think we've almost all but exhusted the topics on the Shadow Mirror discussion. However everyone seems to be taking about a hopefully third book, So if there is one, what do you people think will happen? What burning questions do you think will be answered? Theories anyone?

I hope it tells Etienne's deep dark secret... whatever Jonas Hayes helped him with. I feel like it's going to be an "oh my god!" moment. This might be a weird assumption... but does anyone else feel like maybe Jonas had something to do with his death? Or maybe Etienne did it and Jonas covered for him?


PS- I encourage others to start topics about their other favorite RTC books as well. I'm up for chatting about all of them. I just don't want to have a million posts started by me (even though there already are lol)

The death of Etienne's father??? If thats what you meant then it doesn't sound weird, I'd kind of been getting that vibe too.

Oh yes. I suppose I should have specified. lol. The death of Etienne's father. I knew who I was talking about, but didn't get that part out, apparently ;)

So yes, I'm thinking either Jonas or Etienne had something to do w/ Etienne's father's death. And one kept the secret for the other.

yeah, I kind of thought that way when I was reading Walk of the spirits... I didn't think about it as much in Shadow Mirror, but definatly when i was reading Walk of the Spirits the thought "hey, maybe Jonas had something to do with why his father is dead" definatly came into my head I think more than once.

I really want to find out what Etienne's big secret is. I've read the replies and the guesses about Etienne and Jonas having something to do with Etienne's father's death is a great prediction. But on page 334 in Shadow Mirror, Gage and Etienne are speaking of Miranda.
Etienne "I'm not gonna hurt her. I could never do that."
Gage "You'll do it. This one won't be any different."

Now, it's just a guess. Probably a really silly one, but maybe there was another special girl in Etienne's life before Miranda, and maybe something happened to her. Maybe Etienne really hurt her, in more ways than one.

It also seems like there's something about Gage that hasn't been revealed yet, doesn't it? Or is it just me?

Another thing I'm curious about: How did Etienne find out about Jonas' gift? And how does he always know when Miranda needs him?

yeah, I kind of wondered about that too, and that's a really interesting idea... i just sort of assumed, that it was just Etienne being a bit of a player...whether he meant to or not of course.

I kind of thought that, too, Jillian. I was like "Oh, Etienne, you little slut!" lol. But you never know. He might have some anger issues because of what his father put him through. Maybe he did do something worse :/

I just got an almost brand new copy of Walk of the spirits at a book sale in my local library for 50 cents !!!!! The cover is perfect..the spine isn't even really worn. I couldn't belive my eyes when I saw it. I was going to buy it at the store last week and decided the money was better spent on groceries..lol and now I was rewarded for it !
